20200326 Day 4
Ella Mae's Post
If I were a chicken I would love it if my owners would make a trap for insects to make them go into our cage so we could just catch one and eat it!
I would be very happy if I got fed at breakfast, lunch and dinner and if someone made sure we always had fresh water. Maybe someone could even change our coop, if it had hay instead of wood shavings. The could change that. I would be sad if my owners did not even let me scratch around to have a little snack. I would love the roosing boxes to be full of wood shavings and my butt to be massaged.
When the eggs got too big and the boxes to be full on all sides except the one that we coul get thorugh. One of my favourite things to do would probably be climving on the frame. The owners of us could try and make sure our boxes are not on a slope because it feels weird and it hurts. I like how our enclosure is in the flowre bed so the soil is soft so we could dig holes that our favourite foods are in. I also like eating fresh grass and watching the clouds in the sky as well as listening to the eggs going through the pipes of the egg sorter as the eggs I lay went down every single pipe. Clunk! Clink! I made many fun noises for us and we love it. Me and my friends spend ages listening to the noise. My owner loves me because chickesn are his very favourite animal.
In my house I never complain. What oculd I compain about when everything is perfect? I love where I live because my owner is so kind to me and always feeds me when I am hungry.
I will always stay happy and have a great time with my owners because they are kind. I will never run way from them.
Thomas' Post
Suet Mun's Post
I woke up and ran about 1km around the block before starting work in the morning. The exercise made me feel refreshed. I think I should try it the next day again.
Thomas had a massive meltdown this morning about the colour of vitamins Ella Mae picked out for him. It took us about an hour to settle him.
I wasn't as productive today however, I managed to get the job done.
We managed to keep the children entertained by setting up an assignment for them. As we were going to adopt chickens in the near future, we thought it would best to focus of one element they feel so close to their hearts.
There was a design process where they were asked to design a chicken coup. Both children came up with elaborate chicken egg sorter within the coup.
They both wrote a piece titled "If I were a chicken..."
They collaborated and complied a chicken roster for the family.
Snack time was hot popcorn that was consumed in the sun on the picnic blanket.
For exercise, we rode to Wattle Park.
I am thankful for the sunshine and I am enjoying more precious time with the family.

I would lay eggs and peck through the pile of freshly mown grass from the garden shop and I would be happy. Under the lovely blue sky, what could be better? Nothing. It would be beautiful, listening to the roll of eggs going through the plastic pipes my owner has constructed. I would not dream of complaining.
My owner feeds me, but i wouldn't want to feed him! I do not want to become dinner. ππ. Wait, What? I am not your dinner. I love you. You are my friendπ₯π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯.
I am a bird, and proud of it.
This is me. Do you think I’m beautiful? I am. Am I cute? Yes! I am cute.
